When databases use the Semi-Annual posting frequency, there is a bug that causes issues whenever they close a period. This bug requires a SQL touch to get the database working again.

This is what the database will look like when this bug is present- You’ll notice the current period banner gives an error and the Accounting page errors out completely.

 

To fix this, please submit a Jira ticket and include the accounting period the customer is actively working in along with these SQL steps for our programmers/developers:

update accountingsettings

set LockedPostingDate= (Accounting period that the customer should be currently actively working on)
